Update (olympia, powerlifting, and research)

Hey Everyone,
As usual I've done a poor job of keeping my blog updated, so here we go! As many of you know, I will be attending the Mr. Olympia this weekend with Isabel to cover the event for bodybuilding.com. If you are attending you can chat/meet with me at the Scivation booth (booth #251) on both Friday and Saturday from 2-4pm. If you can't attend then make sure you are following me on twitter as I will be tweeting updates that you can follow @biolayne on twitter. I will be tweeting pictures, updates, and all kinds of VIP/behind the scenes stuff for you guys.

I also have picked out my next powerlifting competition. I will be doing the October 8th Raw United meet in Tampa at the Jackson Springs recreation center. I am hoping to hit a 1650+ raw total at the meet. I recently hit a 610 lb squat in training so things are really looking good!

In need of peak week help?

Hey Everyone,
I know competition season is in full swing now and many of you are starting to agonize over your peak week. Sodium, water, carbs, oh my! What should you do? There is so much information out there but 99% of it is nonsense. Unfortunately, I can only personally prep so many competitors at once but that doesn’t mean I can’t help the rest of you all out a bit! Layne and Isabel at the Arnold Classic

Hello friends,
I apologize for waiting til the last minute to make this post but I wanted to be sure of my responsibilities before I did so. Isabel and I WILL be attending the Arnold Classic Expo this year. You will be able to find me at the Scivation booth on the following days & hours

Friday: 11 am to 4 pm
Saturday: 3 pm to 5 pm
Sunday: 11 am to 3 pm

I will be taking a lunch break at some point on Friday & Sunday so if you go to the booth and I'm not there, it's likely I'll be back shortly.

For those who are interested I will be selling my DVD, Layne Norton Unleashed, at the expo for a discount. I will also have pictures on hand to sign for those who are interested. I am looking forward to meeting new faces and chatting with old friends so please stop by the booth and say hi!
